How We're Paid
Effective date: July 21, 2026
Countyguard is a paid connection service. Countyguard publishes general water-emergency information and provides telephone numbers that may connect callers with independent service providers.
What happens when you call
- Your call is answered by an independent call-routing service, not a Countyguard employee.
- The routing service asks a few questions and may connect you to an independent provider that may serve your area.
- Countyguard is paid if your call results in a qualified connection to a partner provider.
What you pay Countyguard
Countyguard does not charge you a connection fee. You have no obligation to accept a transfer, request an estimate, authorize work, or hire a provider.
Independent providers
Providers are independent businesses, not Countyguard employees or agents. Countyguard is not a party to a provider's estimate, authorization, contract, warranty, financing, payment, insurance claim, or work.
Before authorizing work, ask for the provider's legal business name and independently verify any license or registration required for the work, insurance, references, scope, price, and contract terms.
Questions or complaints
Questions about Countyguard's payment arrangement or complaints concerning a connection may be sent to support@countyguard.com or Eldhurst LLC, 82 Wendell Ave STE 100, Pittsfield, MA 01201 (mailing address only). If you hired a provider, contractual and workmanship questions should also be directed to that provider.
